Shine a Spotlight – Transport

Join Michael Ryan and Lisa Maynard from West Sussex County Councils Schools transport team who will be giving an overview of what home/school transport is.

Some of the areas they will cover are:

The process of getting home/school transport put in place

How this works with new placements, change of placements and new academic years

Important date deadlines when arranging transport and timeframes.

They will briefly cover information on chaperones/personal assistants and who approves this and how this may be determined.
  

There will be a short window at the end for some Q&A’s to be answered. These must be generalised as anything to case specific will not be able to be answered during the session.

This workshop is suitable for parent carers of children and young people who is or may be eligible for home/school transport
